It's been forever since they took WTV off the air in Seattle. We have only the one tape with two shows and we are sad. Heavy sigh. Your show use to be aired late-night here on CKVU in Vancouver. I stumbled across it late one night, and was blown away. What a breath of fresh air! The best thing I've seen on TV in years. Unfortunately, the bastards dropped the show, and have since replaced it with infomercials or some such shit. Anyway, as someone who works in community TV, I just thought I'd pass along my compliments, and can only hope someone up here or in the Seattle area will pick up your show again.

Its been over 2 years now since Weird TV has left this area. since then, the station has turned to reruns of 227 and Good Times. i used to walk in to video stores and ask them about the Weird TV tapes. they'd just look at me and pretend to check their computers to see if they were going to get any in. they never did. Sadly, all i have left of weird tv is a collection of memories. of staying up late on a sunday (even tho i had to go to school in 4 hours)--of religiously telling people to watch the show. they didnt. i suppose i could have told more people. there is no one to blame but myself. its gone...gone...gone... i fear i have little more to look forward to than a life of normalcy. save me, someone. i miss you, Dr. Ruehl..(oh, god. i dont know if i spelled that right. memories fading...noooo)

I was so upset the day Weird TV was taken off the air here in Pensacola Florida "WEAR tv 3", my bro's and I would sit up till 3 every Saturday morning to watch it. I actually have a 6 hour commercial cut video of the show's now past. I must say I haven't been able to sit through the whole thing in altered states of mind (tahehehehe). Anyway I miss you guys ALOT!! and I have call'd my local station and beg'd for them to put it back on the air.

I used to catch the show off of an independent station down in Fayettenam. Now the bastards have switched to an all-infomercial format. I really appreciated WTV -- it showed what could be done with no budget, but plenty of ingenious collaborators. (If Woody Vasulka is still alive, see if you can talk him into letting you run some of his stuff -- he's seriously crazed. And extremely cool for an art-snot.) I've been circulating my paltry collection of tapes and telling people to call the local stations.
